OPENING OF THE ARENA:
The main entrance is located on Hyllie Stationstorg and opens 1,5 hours before first match start.

BAG LIMITS IN THE ARENA:
Bag with a maximum size of 40x40x20 cm is allowed.

HOW TO GET TO THE ARENA IN MALMÖ

BY CAR

To ensure a smooth and comfortable visit, we recommend travelling by public transport whenever possible.

Several parking garages are located in the Hyllie area near the arena, including parking facilities at Hyllie Station, Arenagaraget, and Emporia. Availability may be limited on matchdays.

BY TRAIN 

Malmö Arena is located directly next to Malmö Hyllie Station, about a 2‑minute walk. Both Öresundståg and Pågatåg trains stop at Malmö Hyllie. 

Travel time from Malmö Central Station is approximately 6 to 8 minutes. Direct train connections are also available from Copenhagen Airport (CPH)

BY AIR

Copenhagen Airport (CPH) is approximately 12 minutes by train to Malmö Hyllie Station, and Malmö Airport (Sturup) is approximately 30 minutes away by car or public transport.

BY BUS

Several local buses (6, 9, 10, 51) and regional buses (150, 170, 300) stop at Hyllie Stationstorg, next to the arena.

Bus connections run frequently from Malmö city centre and surrounding areas. For timetables and route planning, visitors are advised to check Skånetrafiken.

 

FAN ZONE

The fan zone in Malmö is located at Lilla Torg which is a historic and central place in Malmö. It has been named Sweden’s most beautiful square (Arkitekturupproret, 2021). 

The Fan Zone will offer a variety of activities, events, and a wide range of food and drinks, such as; interviews and performances, shirt signings and competitions, ticket raffles, family activities (speed shooting, target shooting, interactive activities, air hockey, crafts corner) and others activities.

Travel with public transport during the Men’s EHF EURO 2026

Download Skånetrafiken’s app and buy your ticket. Choose between a single ticket, a 24-hour ticket, or a Tourist ticket. If you are two or more people travelling together, and you buy a joint ticket, you receive a 25 percent discount within Skåne and 20 percent discount to Denmark.

Øresund bridge tickets - Øresundsbron

Buy your ticket in advance and get a 10% discount (when you sign up for the newsletter). This ticket is perfect if you cross the Øresund Bridge occasionally. Choose between a single ticket or a round-trip ticket, depending on what suits you best. The ticket is valid for 30 days. Through the Øresund bridge toll station - Øresundsbron

Capacity: 15,000 spectators

About the arena: Malmö Arena is centrally located in the Öresund region, also known as Greater Copenhagen. Malmö Arena is in the expansive district of Hyllie. Hyllie aims to be the most environmentally friendly district in the Öresund region. At Hyllie Stationstorg, the heart of the green district lies Malmö Arena only 80 meters from the train station, from where you reach Malmö Centrum in 3 minutes, Copenhagen Airport in 12 minutes and Copenhagen city centre in 25 minutes. Malmö Arena was opened in November 2008 and has a capacity of 15,000 spectators. Malmö Arena is a multi-arena and has hosted widely different events such as the Eurovision Song Contest, the Junior Hockey World Cup, and the Handball World Cup.
