Luxembourg stun Latvia, Kosovo and Belgium progress without a hitch

The biggest shock was Luxembourg’s comeback against Latvia, as they erased a seven-goal deficit from the first leg to take a stunning 61:60 aggregate win and progress to the next phase.

• after conceding a 25:32 loss in the first leg, Luxembourg stunned their opponents and clinched a 36:28 win against Latvia, after dominating the whole second leg, as Yann Hoffmann scored nine goals
• Luxembourg will have a chance to progress to the EHF EURO, as they have made it to qualification phase 2 for the second time in a row, having returned to this phase of the competition in the previous edition for the first time since 2010

• Kosovo’s 59:45 aggregate win against Great Britain, sealed after a 29:23 win in Derby, saw them clinch their third consecutive berth for qualification phase 2 of the EHF EURO, as they will look to improve their previous outing, when they lost six from six against Bosnia Herzegovina, Slovenia and Montenegro
