The panel will talk about current trends in grassroot sports, how this generation is different from previous ones and how girls differ from boys. They will identify current trends and challenges and ways to overcome these.
The speakers at the webinar are Belgian Handball Federation Secretary General Dries Boulet; Günes Viter, a board member of Defne Sports Club; Anne-Laure Michel, the project manager for Athletes Inspire Children; and guest speaker Elisabeth Cebrian, who is Head of Women in Basketball & Special Projects for basketball federation FIBA Europe.
All four speakers have significant experience in inclusion projects and a special interest in encouraging women and girls into sport.
They will all also be appearing at the Women’s Handball Conference 2024: “From grassroots to professional sport and beyond,” on 10-11 December in Vienna, to be held on the fringes of Women’s EHF EURO 2024, where the topic of approaching younger generations will also be discussed.
The webinar takes place between 13:00-14:00 CEST on Tuesday 24 September and attendees can register for free by clicking here. There will be an opportunity to ask questions.
