PRELIMINARY ROUND

Located in the Mediterranean, the region surrounding the city of Antalya is one of Türkiye's most important tourism centres with its 630 km coastline and approximately 2.3 million population, bringing the sea, sun, nature and history together.

Drawing attention with its palm-lined boulevards, award-winning marina and historical Kaleiçi district, Antalya hosts the Aspendos Opera and Ballet Festival, international sports organisations and cultural events.

 

Antalya has ancient cities such as the Aspendos, Perge and Side, and famous beaches such as the Konyaaltı, Lara and Karpuzkaldıran. The city is also known for its natural waterfalls such as Düden, Manavgat and Kurşunlu. Beydağları and Saklıkent are ideal spots for plateaus and winter sports. 

Also rich with its historical structures, Antalya features the district of Kaleiçi, Yivli Minaret and examples of traditional Turkish architecture. The cultural texture of the city has been shaped in harmony with nature.

Antalya Sports Hall 

Capacity: 10,000

About the arena: Antalya Sports Hall is located in Muratpaşa district. It is six minutes from the city, 23 minutes from the airport and 11 minutes from the bus station and has a capacity of 10,000 people. The hall, which was inaugurated in 2016, has hosted many national and international events.
