EHF European Cup Women to hand out remaining tickets for round 3

Excitement ramps up as the EHF European Cup Women 2026/27 round 2 concludes this week, with clubs dreaming of advancing to the next phase.

Last weekend, 11 teams already booked their round 3 tickets, joining the 10 participants that are directly qualified for that stage in November. This leaves 11 more seats to be decided over the coming days.

Action starts on Friday 9 October, with four matches, while seven teams will book their round 3 tickets in exciting double-headers over the weekend. Four second-leg ties are also scheduled for this week.

Jomi PDO Salerno and HC DAC Dunajská Streda meet on Saturday at 17:15 CEST in Slovakia after drawing 25:25 in their first leg last weekend; Alexandra Ramona Severin and Júlia Ágnes Farkas were the top scorers for their respective teams
another clash that promises excitement is the second leg between Athinaikos HC and HB Sint Truiden; the sides meet on Sunday at 16:00 CEST in Greece after the Belgian team secured a narrow 25:24 win last week; if Athinaikos can reproduce their great start to the match from the first leg — when they were leading by four goals after 15 minutes — this tie could get really interesting
both Portuguese clubs in this round have a double-header at home on their schedule; Clube Jovem Almeida Garrett meet Youth Union of Athienou on Friday and Saturday, as ADAA São Pedro do Sul host Maccabi Haarazim Ramat Gan on Saturday and Sunday
Kur return to the European Cup for the fourth consecutive season and aim to progress from round 2 for the first time; this season, APOEL KN. Ag.
