Programme announced for European Handball Talks
The organisers of the European Handball Talks sports business event, EHF Marketing GmbH, have released a final programme and confirmed its line-up of speakers.
Hailing from the worlds of sport, business and technology the keynote speakers and invited panel guests will bring a depth of knowledge to the topics of brand management and community building in the digital age as well as digitalisation and technology in sport.
The line-up of speakers includes Michael Wiederer, the EHF President, David Szlezak, Managing Director of EHF Marketing GmbH, as well as leading experts in brand, sponsorship and technology. Invited speakers include guests from EHF partners including the VELUX Group and Sportradar.
First hackathon in handball
Parallel to the business event, the very first hackathon in handball will take place – under the title of the ‘European Handball HackDays’.
Supported by the official data and streaming partner of the EHF club competitions, Sportradar, as well as tracking provider, Kinexon, and digital service agency, Athletia, the event will focus on developing creative solutions for data usage and visualisation.
The results of the hackathon will be presented at the conclusion to the European Handball Talks event.

The ‘European Handball Talks’ event takes place from 14:30 hrs on Friday, 25 May 2018 at Palais Flora Cologne and is a registration-only business event.
